Independent Games / Weird Systems / Loud Ideas

Arcade instincts,
brought forward.

We make games with arcade bones and a modern pulse. Clean movement, readable stakes, and the kind of rhythm that keeps you playing longer than you meant to. We build for the present tense.

Studio Profile

We still believe game feel matters.

Gerbodyne is an independent studio with a simple obsession: the kind of play that gets into your hands before it gets into your head. A good arcade game tells you what it is in a few seconds, then spends the next hour proving it has more to say than you expected.

We focus on bringing arcade and retro gameplay into the present without sanding away the spark that made it worth remembering in the first place. Fast loops, readable danger, a little style, and enough mystery to keep the lights on after midnight.

GRITRUNNER

Status: In Development

GRITRUNNER is a retro arcade-style space game built around speed, pressure, and the small private joy of slipping through impossible gaps with a second to spare. It has engines, dust, bad odds, and the sort of horizon that always seems to be asking for one more run. More details to come.
